John Aubrey Kirk

John was born December 9th, 1952, to Estelle and A. C. Kirk. He was a lifelong resident of Lubbock and attended Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University.

On May 30th, 1993, John married the love of his life, Miss Debbie Tredwell. John and Debbie spent the next 32 years making memories together and building their life and family.

John made a career for himself in sales and service at companies such as GBC and Gebco, and eventually as the owner of Bookbinding and Laminating, in Lubbock.

In his spare time, John enjoyed hitting the links at his favorite golf course and joining in fellowship as a former Elk at his local Elks Lodge.

John’s family was a source of great pride and joy in his life and he will be missed dearly by those he leaves behind.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and A. C. Kirk, and his beloved daughter, Carrie Kirk.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Mrs. Debbie Kirk; daughters, Tina Muir, Karla (Vian) Burnett, Christina (Justin) Hinson; his grandchildren, Cory Martin, Chase Dandridge, Rene Flores II, Alyssa Flores, Caden Alvarez, Tavian Alvarez, Madaleine Alvarez, Deagan Hinson, Ecko Hinson, Sierra Hinson, and Brahem Adams; and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Deavin Martin and Emery and Serenity Flores.
