She was born in Fort Lupton, Colorado on May 6, 1938 to Velma Legg and Earl Howard Moore. She attended Lubbock High School. Joyce was married to Alton Shaw on October 30, 1954. She was a member of Lubbock Scarlet Toppers Red Hat Society and loved to collect angels.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Alton; son, Curtis Alton Shaw; parents, Earl & Velma Moore; and brother, Noel Moore.
She is loved and survived by Judy Bailey (Dale), James Shaw, Phyllis Gross ( Danny), Sheila Baggerley ( Charles II), Shawn (Lisa) Shaw, Nicholas Bailey, Kyle Bailey (Meagan), Courtney Holloway (Cody), Clinton Gross (Becky), Cody Eder-Gross (Colton), Stevie Fussell (Bradlee), Charles Baggerley III (Kye), Dennis Moore, Lindell Moore, Jane Shaw, Sally Casados and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
