Juanita F. Hudson, 76, of Lubbock went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Lubbock after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Lubbock with Pastor Bobby Dagnel officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Juanita was born on December 10, 1937 in Seymour, Texas to Ernest and Eva Welch. She was the youngest of 7 children, including her twin Annita. Juanita married Robert Carroll Hudson on August 19, 1961. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lubbock and held membership in the Zeta Omicron chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Lubbock Women’s Club.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Carroll Hudson of Lubbock; their daughters, Sheryl Rambo of Irving and Dianne Perrin of Lubbock; 3 grandchildren, Seth 17, Rachel 13, and Dakota 9. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation
