Juvey Romo Pena

Mass of Christian burial for Juvey Romo Pena 72, of Lubbock will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM, Sunday, April 1, 2018 with Rosary to be held at 7 PM, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.

Juvey was born October 23, 1945 in Nava Coahuila, Mexico to the late Edmundo and Eloisa (Romo) Pena. Juvey was a foreman for Plains Builders, Inc. for 42 years and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Those left to honor and cherish Juvey’s memory are his loving wife of 36 years, Lucy; sons, Mark Pena and wife, Lucy, Joey Solis and Zachary Pena; daughters, Joann Ortiz and husband, Rickie, Cynthia Pena, Stephanie Roman and husband Alex, Barbara Olivarez and husband Eric, Amanda Urias and husband, Tito, Miriah Helmers and husband Brian and Miranda Pena; brothers, Luis, Mario, Jesus and Reymundo Pena; sister, Virginia Cabrera; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Ester Valle
