Katy Lee Tomlinson, 85, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away July 28, 2018. Katy was born April 4, 1933 in Santa Rosa Texas. Her parents were Jerry Madison and Rachel Elizabeth Hargis Grant

Katy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She married her husband Sammie Jack Tomlinson February 18, 1953. Katy especially enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved to knit and crochet. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She retired from Texas Instruments.

Sammie Jack Tomlinson, her husband passed away suddenly July 30, 2018.

She is survived by their children; Clayton Tomlinson of Colorado Springs, Nancy Tomlinson Roberts of Idalou, and Anthony Tomlinson of Midland; grandchildren; Morgan Tomlinson, Matthew Roberts and his wife, Sara, Whitney Roberts Lucado and her husband Jared; great grandchildren; Greyson Lucado, EmmaRae Roberts, Reese Roberts, Kort Roberts; and sister; Ruth Grant. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Jerry Grant.

Friends may call on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home Abbey Chapel from 9AM until the time of services at 10AM. Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
