From the time he entered this world Kaylom lived life going 90 to nothing. Kaylom was full of personality and had this uncanny ability to connect with people everywhere he went. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. He was hard headed, opinionated and fiercely loyal to those he loved, managing to maintain friendships he has had since childhood. He was funny and fun, always picking at his friends and family with his smart mouth and wit. Although he was injured when he was just 28 years old, he packed a lot of life in those years. Before his accident he was the life of the party. Always running the roads, hanging with friends and hitting the dance floors. And he would always keep two pairs of boots with him when he went out just in case (if you know, you know). Kaylom had a love for all things sports but especially Motocross. His passion was racing and he dominated the West Texas Motocross circuit in the 90's. Up until his accident Kaylom never sat still and lived life to the fullest. Although the accident took away the life he should have lived, he didn't let that break his spirit. He fought a good fight and pushed through with the love of family and dear friends. Most people are lucky to find one or two good friends in their lifetime. Kaylom was lucky enough to have a lifetime full of good friends. Although Kaylom will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing he is now free from all the physical ailments that bound him here on earth and is riding his bike on those dirt tracks in Heaven.
In lieu of flowers, the family request you consider a donation to benefit rural shelters in the surrounding communities that take care of abandoned animals. Kaylom had a love for dogs for as you know they have always been his most loyal companions.
