Kenneth Ray Beebe

After having spent his formative years in Levelland and Anton, he graduated from Anton High School and Texas Tech University. He received his BBA from Texas Tech University, the greatest school in the land, in 1971. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1974. After a brief period in San Antonio, TX, he proudly called West Texas and Lubbock home since 1975.

He practiced accounting and farmed for several decades throughout the Lubbock, TX area. In the mid 90’s, he became a partner in Madden Beebe & Co. In 2009, he became CFO for Musslewhite Trucking, retiring in 2014, to return to one of his true callings in life, farming. He farmed in Hockley Co until his subsequent death. Ken and Margaret were members of Vandelia Church of Christ for over 39 years.

Ken is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret; their two sons, Brad Beebe, Kyle Beebe and wife Rebecca; granddaughters, Claire Biddle, and Emma Biddle all of Lubbock, TX; brother and sister in law, Jim and Pat Beebe from Dennis, TX; step-sister and brother in law, Suzy and Alex Labry of Austin, TX; sister- in- law, and brother in law, Elda and Alan Railey of McKinney, TX; step- brother and sister- in- law, Kirk and Kathy Williams from Happy, TX; and blessed to have numerous nieces and nephews. Ken enjoyed being "Uncle Ken" to: Bryan Beebe, wife Monique and their children, Malcolm and Nikki Debbie Souder, husband Scott and their children, Sam and his wife Tara and Allie and her husband Bryce Marty Beebe, wife Melissa and their children, Alex and Laura Gail

Claire Labry Tate Railey, wife Lindsey and their children Camden, Shepherd, Reese and Molly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Malcom Beebe (1953); mother , Ruby Beebe-Williams (1985); and step- father, Orval Williams (2005).

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 12, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept 13, 2017 at Vandelia Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
