

Kinsley Ann “Sugar Bear” Peek, of Lubbock, unexpectedly passed away after a sudden illness on March 22, 2016 at the tender age of 18 months. She was born on August 28, 2014 to Trevar and Joann Peek. At her young age, Kinsley loved many things, some include: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, giving kisses- even to people she just met and duckies; she loved to walk around saying 'Qak Qak!' Kinsley loved telling everyone, 'see ya later' and 'wuv you' (love you). She especially loved her sisters, Liberty who she called “Sissy” and Topanga who she called “Baby”.
Kinsley is survived by her Mommy and Daddy, Joann and Trevar Peek; her sisters: Liberty Peek and Topanga Peek; numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; Grandparents: Debbie Gorny, Tisha and David “Grandpa” Gist, Demeka and Cecil “Batman” Hall, Angie and Greg “Papa” Walker, Michelle Abernathy, and Derrick "Pappy” Gorny; Great-Grandparents: Barbara Golden, Sylvia Peek, Jerry Beevers and Alfred “Papa” Daniels. Preceding her in death are two Great-Grandfathers, Lonnie “Papa” Peek and Ronnie “Pepa” Beevers. Pallbearers will be Harrison Gorny, Jonny Mayo, Ivan Benitez, Travis Daniels and Jeff Watson.
The family requests those attending the service honor Kinsley’s bright spirit by wearing your most colorful attire. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a children’s charity of your choice in her name. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park Lubbock, Texas.
