Lillie J Young was born in Conroe, TX to the late Bessie D. Williamson and James Henry Hillhouse. She worked many years as a caregiver for the elderly in hospital and home settings. She loved her family, enjoyed working outside in her yard, and adored her dogs. She is remembered for always having a hot meal and open ear for all and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lillie leaves behind to cherish her memories her 3 daughters: Stephanie Biles-Pruett and Brend Price, both of Lubbock TX, and Beverly Bruns of Claude TX; 1 son, Curtis Young of Lubbock TX; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Her life will be celebrated with a visitation on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 11am-2pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park at 3pm.
