Linda Kay Shannon born January 2,1941 in Olton, Tx to Jim and Gert Donaldson. She was the only daughter of 6 children.

She was a hair dresser for many years but later became a retail cashier. She married Forrest Shannon on December 28,1963. They had two children Sharon and Lucretia.

She was proceeded in death by her father Jim, Mother Gert, Stepfather Bill, brothers Elvin, Harold, Shorty, Bobby and Billy. Husband Forrest, daughter Lucretia and granddaughter Linda Kay.

She leaves behind daughter Sharon (Jim) Grand children Scott (Tina); Amanda (Joe) and Aaron (Amber) Great grand children Kinzie, Malorie, Kit, Jordan, Mike, Lizzy, Kent, Kash and many family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.
