LaVerne was a longtime resident of Lubbock and owned and operated LaVerne's Taylor Shop for many years in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by Billie Joe Mullenax and Kenneth McLain.
Those left to cherish her memory are: Lonnie Mullenax, Victoria Lilley, Tina Lynn, Jerry McLain, Steve McLain, Susan Streelly, Rick McLain and Lynae Thompson along with many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
