Marjorie A. Potter, age 86, of Lubbock, passed away July 07, 2016. She was born to the late Newton “Bud” and Gladys Sims in Vaughn, New Mexico, on February 16, 1930. She graduated from Lubbock High School and received her Bachelors of Arts in Homemaking from Texas Tech. She was married to Fred Potter in 1952; they were married for 55 years until his death in 2007. She worked as a professional model.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ruth Pinson, of California; brother, W.D. “Billy” Sims, of Lubbock, Texas.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, John Pinson, Deborah Anglin and husband Tony Airhart, Terri Anne Key and husband Larry Key, Eric Sims and wife Gayle Sims, Joe Holland and wife Mary Ellen Holland and Stephen Pinson and wife Barb Pinson, Shannon Crabtree and husband Randy Crabtree.
