Martha Bartlett, 74, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Martha was born on January 9. 1939 in Merkel to the late Riley and Vergie (Moore) James. She married Delmon Bartlett on March 14, 1959 in Lubbock. They were married for 51 years before his death on April 28, 2010. Martha was a bus secretary for Durham Transportation.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, Curtis Bartlett and wife, Dee, Michael Bartlett and wife, Elizabeth, David Bartlett, and Karen Bennett and husband, Dave; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2p.m Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Rest-haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8p.m. this evening at Resthaven Funeral Home.
