She was born on February 3, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years James Blackman Sr. on Mar 10, 2020.
Those left to cherish her memory include 3 daughters; Abby Dale, Kay Stephenson and Pamela Blackman and 1 son James

Melba also leaves behind her grandchildren: Stephen Dale, Jared Dale, and Luren Dale, as well as her great-grandchildren; Kaiah Lilly-Dale, and Corbin Martinez.
