Celebration of life services for Mike Cain, 51, of Lubbock will be held at 10 am, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Mike passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael Lee Cain was born July 17, 1959 in Lubbock to Leonard and Peggy (Clift) Cain. He graduated from Coronado High School and Texas Tech University. Mike was a member of Phi Delta Theta, the Rotary Club and served as president of the Lubbock Ski Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, and a brother Gary.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his children; Hunter Lee Cain, Lauren Leigh Cain Porter and husband, Justin, all of Lubbock, mother, Peggy Cain of Lubbock, brother, Clifton Lee Cain and wife, Randa, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, sister, Linda Cain of Plainview, grandchildren, Brandon Porter, Cade Mabie, Jordan Porter, and Cameron Porter; an aunt, Robbie Nell Clift of Lubbock; a niece, Tiffany Salle and nephew, Brandon Gage.
