Michael joined the Navy to serve his country 1958–1963 and looked forward to his Navy reunion to see his fellow Navy brothers. In later years he drove semi-trucks. Some of Michael’s most precious moments were when he had his Folger’s coffee with his wife, Lethea, and loved car racing.
Those left to cherish Michael’s memory are his wife of 36 years, Lethea Sue Holmes; sons, Mikey, Jodie/Becky, Shawn/Jamie; Paul Jay/Debbie; daughter, Cindy Lou Peterson; sister, Patricia/Gene; sister-in-law, Linda/Troy Huffman; uncle, Scotty Holmes; aunt, Montez Ray. Michael leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many family and friends.
