Michael Gordon Shirel, Sr. entered rest on February 4, 2019 at the age of 65. He was born on October 31, 1953 to Alvin Gordon and Norma Shirel in Fairfield, California.

Mr. Gordon served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for over 16 years. He married Youn Suk on December 5, 1975 in Seoul, Korea.

He is survived by his loving wife; their children: Louise Shirel and Michael Gordon Shirel Jr. and Kayla; sister, Louise Shirel; grandchildren: Michael Gordon Shirel III, Samantha Shirel, Aydan Shirel, Khloe Shirel, Addison Shirel, Camden Shirel, and Grant Shirel; and other relatives.

The family will receive guests from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
