Patsy Jane Soucy

Patsy Jane (Napper) Soucy was born in Lamesa, Texas to Dorothy Lee (Wright) Napper and Wylie J. Napper on January 30, 1939. She passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2025, at 86 years old, surrounded by her loved ones. Patsy was a devoted and loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Family was always her priority.

Patsy is survived by her brother, Jan Napper, sister-in-law, Sylvia Napper; her children, Brent and Tamara Soucy, Dr Dana Soucy, Pam Lancaster and Lynn Soucy; grandchildren Chris and Adriana Adams, Marc and Rebekah Irvine, Drew Soucy, Kevin Hallett, Jeremy and Amanda Idle, Kyle and Taylor Soucy, Kasey Hallett and Chris and Caitlin Mattson; great grandchildren, Mikayla Adams, Natalie Adams, Bella Adams, Sofia Irvine, Griffin Soucy, Everly Soucy, Calvin Soucy. Patsy was expecting another great-grandchild this month, who will be named Layla Jane after her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Dorothy Napper, brother, James Napper, her loving husband, Brian Soucy and a granddaughter, Hannah Soucy.

Patsy grew up and lived most of her life in West Texas, including Lamesa, Big Spring, and Lubbock. Her greatest joys were raising children, gardening, cooking, attending church, and spending time with family. Patsy will be dearly missed.

A funeral service for Patsy will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
