Pauline J. King

Pauline J King, 95, passed away Friday November 21, 2014 in Coppell, TX. She was born December 17, 1918 in Macon, GA to Karl and Velma Kendrick. Pauline married Leonard King, April 8, 1938 in Lamb Co. TX and they farmed together for the next 25 years. She then went to work for Linton Industries, retiring as a supervisor after 20 years of service.

Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She taught Sunday school for many years and loved to sing even in her last days. She was a greeter who never met a stranger, saying hello to everyone. Pauline spent her last eight years in Irving to be near her family.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Margaret Leamon and her husband Don; grandchildren, Jan Breckenridge, Stuart Brown, Joel King, Heather McGee and Whitney Barron; daughter-in-law Linda King; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son Herbert King.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday November 25 at 1 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel followed by interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com
