Pete Lopez

Pete Lopez, 64 of Lubbock, passed away July 3rd, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, July 6 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, July 7 at 10:00am in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.

Pete was born July 31, 1949 in Edinburg, TX. to Pedro and Juanita Lopez.

He graduated from Lydia Patterson High School in El Paso, TX. in 1969.

He began work at Becknell Wholesale in 1974. Pete married the love of his life, Elvia Revilla, June 7, 1980.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Polo and Chevy Leal.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, son JP (Raquel); daughter Ashley (Jesse) and his granddaughter, Jazlynn. Also left to honor his life are his sisters Maria Quintero, Mary Whitaker, Janie Almaguer, Ofelia Trevino, Rosa Ozuna (Armando), brother Lucio Leal as well as countless other family and friends.

To his Becknell family, you were truly a blessing to Pete, especially the last few years. We are truly grateful.
