Tommy was born June 26,1944, to Richard T. Evans Sr. and Vera Faye Evans. He lived most of his life in Hurlwood, Texas.
He went to school in Wolfforth Texas, home of the Frenship Tigers. Tommy married the love of his life, Kathryn Ayers, on December 26, 1967. Tommy served in the Army from 1967 to 1969. After leaving the Army, he joined the family business and worked as a cotton farmer until 1990. In 1990, he embarked on a new adventure as a truck driver. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grand kids and especially liked joining them for lunch on Wednesdays.
