After Roger’s retirement from the Air Force, he enrolled in Western Bible College in Colorado. He graduated from college in 1981, and then he served at the O.C.S.C. center at Travis Air Force Base in California for three years. In 1984 Roger began studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 1988. Following his studies at seminary Roger served a church in Gilroy CA for three years before he responded to a call to serve at Melonie Park Church in 1994.
Roger loved the Lord and the Lord’s people. He loved teaching and preaching God’s Word. In his retirement Roger continued to be active at Melonie Park Church. He preached occasionally, he taught regularly for a Sunday School class, and he participated in a Tuesday morning prayer group.
