Miranda, Rosa Perez, of Lubbock, died Monday, December 29, 2014. Born in San Benito, Texas to the late Jose and Piedad Perez. She married Arnoldo P. Miranda, Sr.; after raising their five children, Rosa spent many years volunteering for The University Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteer Services. She kept active by joining her friends at the YWCA every morning for water aerobics. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends, and traveling. Her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnoldo; her son, Rolando “Ron” Miranda and son-in-law, John Tracy Golliday.
She is survived by her son Arnoldo P. Miranda, Jr. and his wife Diane; daughters, Debbie Ann Miranda, Pamie Golliday, Melissa Hernandez and her husband Eugene; grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Garrett, Abbie and daughter-in-law, Christa Miranda.
Rosary services will be held Friday, January 02nd at 7pm in the Abbey Chapel at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 03rd at 10AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5802 22nd Street, Lubbock, Texas.
