Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with a private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mama Jean was born on October 9, 1932 in Gatesville, Texas to Walter and Stella Kelso. She was a member of the Wolfforth Church of Christ for several years. She enjoyed making people laugh, writing her poetry, gardening and her cats. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is survived by her three children; Bruce Wilson and wife Sandra, Pamela Smith and husband Jeff, and Tracy Wilson and wife LaNell, grandchildren; Bliss Altenhoff, Lauren Wilson, Steven Smith, Jessica and James Wilson, Richard Adkisson, AaBi, Katheryn and Jonathan Seay, seven great grandchildren, and one sister; Grace Odom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Wilson.
