

She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Jim Axe; her sister, Marilyn Beam (Amarillo, TX); her daughters, Lori Arterburn and her husband David Arterburn (Lubbock, TX) and Heather Leigh Axe (Dallas, TX); her grandchildren Dayton Arterburn (Austin, TX), Griffin Arterburn and his wife Mary Courtney (Ball Ground, Georgia), Halston Arterburn (Dallas, TX), and Greyson Sierp (Dallas, TX).
Her parents, Floyd and Ferne Dickey owned and operated a cafe for years in Dimmitt, TX and then bought and ran Dickey's Dozer Service "Dirt Work - All Kinds".
She graduated from Dimmitt High School and attended West Texas State University.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and dearly loved her Sunday School class.
Suzanne and Jim recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
She enjoyed traveling to Maui and was an avid sports fan. She easily made friends with everyone she met, but her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Suzanne will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her generosity, making others feel special, and her caring heart. She dedicated her life to her family and was happiest when everyone was all together celebrating special occasions.
