She was born on July 5, 1935 in El Paso, Texas to John and Velma Link. She Graduated from Texas Tech in the mid 50’s with a Bachelors Degree in Education. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and was still very active within the faturnity. She was a retired elementary school Teacher and was active in the Susan G Komen for the cure.
She is survived by her son, John Schell of Ft. Worth, daughter Glen Harlan and her Husband Kevin of Snyder, two brothers, Jack Link of Lubbock, Tom Link of Austin, one sister, Glenda Michel of Longmont, Co, one nephew, Bryan Michel and one niece, Lesley Link Collins.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at 1:00 Pm at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel.
In leui of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation 3450 Founders Rd , Indianapolis, IN 46268.
