Thomas "Tom" Hamman, 71, of Lubbock, TX passed away April 5th, 2024. Tom was born January 15th, 1953 to Phillip and Marilyn Hamman in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Though he was born in Oklahoma, Tom was a proud Texan.
Tom answered the call to serve his country in the 70's and went on to serve in not only the Air Force, but the Army as well, retiring after 20+ years of service.
Tom is remembered by his family as the most amazing Daddy, grandpa, and brother ever. He was a man of great generosity who was always willing to help anyone in need - and to do so with a smile on his face.
He took pride in and loved his time as an usher at Lakeridge Methodist Church where he was also a part of a wonderful Sunday school group. Tom also loved to go shooting with his cowboy family. He was a man who loved God, his family, and his friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Marilyn Hamman, and brother, Doug Hamman.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Alicia Hamman and husband Dwayne Kemp, grandchildren, Thomas and Mary Alyce Hamman, brothers, Rick (Sherry) Hamman, and Phil (Linda) Hamman, as well as his late brother's wife, Fanni Hamman.
Tom is greatly loved and missed.
