Willard Lee Pugh Jr. of Lubbock, TX passed from this life September 29, 2020. He was born to Willard Lee Pugh Sr. and Lera Nell (Hager) Pugh, October 30, 1941, in Ranger, Texas. After graduating from Ranger High School in the class of 1959, he completed barber college and worked in that field until joining the Navy in 1963. He served as an electronics technician until retiring from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer in 1984. He continued working in electronics as a civilian until his final retirement. He married Diana Lea (Holland) Chovan of San Diego, CA, in 1970. Willard was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Kimberlea. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana; stepson Dan Chovan, San Diego; sister Mary Walton and husband Hal, Ranger; sister Shirley Walton and husband Tom, Lubbock; sister Barbara Perry and husband James, Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of American Legion Post 575 in Lubbock. He will be laid to rest at the Texas Veterans Cemetery at Abilene, TX.
