Yvonne McLeod Williams, age 89, of Lubbock, was welcomed into her Savior’s arms on November 12, 2018. She grew up in Sulphur, LA and attended Abilene Christian University where she met and married the love of her life, Don Williams. They were married 68 ½ years, separated only by his passing in 2016. She was a wife, mother, computer guru, pilot, business owner, and world traveler. She was well known for eating dessert first, and loving her Red Raiders. She loved to learn, and amazed us all with her continual pursuit of knowledge. Yvonne had a deep relationship with her Lord. She loved her family, and served not only them; but opened her heart and home to anyone in need.She was the matriarch of 5 children, 17 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Yvonne was one in a million and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers will host a gathering of friends and family today, November 13, 2018, at 1:00 pm.
