Dianna Campiere Byrd, age 59, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her Slidell home. Beloved wife of George Byrd of 44 years; mother of Joseph Byrd, Michael Byrd (Wendy), Jeannette Funck (Donnie), Christina Byrd and Elizabeth Byrd; Grandmother of Jennifer, Daniel, Shelby, Madelyn, Seth, Jordan, Grace, Stephen and the late Joshua ; Sister of Leon E. Campiere , Jr.; daughter of Leon E. Campiere, Sr. (Shirley) and the late Jeannette Meade. A native of New Orleans, LA and A Slidell resident since 1979.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Byrd Line Cemetery, Lumberton; MS.
