Michael H. Lackey

A kind and giving man, Michael was born November 3, 1952 in Poplarville, Mississippi to Joe A. and Mary Margaret Beall Lackey. He was in the United States Navy and later served as a Merchant Marine. Michael loved to ride around two in his red Corvette with his two pugs in the passenger seat. He will be sorely missed by all who come to know him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Joe Beall Lacky; and one sister, Laura Lackey Ennis.

Survivors include his companion, Coleen Wilder; one daughter, Precious Solar; three cousins, Debra Lomax Cassibry, Mary Cassibry, and Kitty Beringhele.

Memorial services will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, Mississippi, 39455 with inurnment following in Lumberton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until the time of services, Tuesday at the funeral home.
