Percy Harris Martin, Jr., age 71, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Grand Point, LA. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Edith Martin; his brothers, Robert and Brian Martin and his sisters Amy Martin and Tammy McClung. He is survived by his siblings, Barbara Yambra(Noel), Carol Gautreau(Carlton), Leo Martin (Mary), Ray Martin (late Trudy), and Teddy Martin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00 pm at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Hwy Lutcher, La., and will continue on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St. Paulina, La. Burial will follow in the church mausoleum.
