Born in Lynchburg, January 7, 1932, he was the son of the late Ollie Newton Bryant and Maude Christian Bryant. He was a retired building contractor and owner of A. Gordon Bryant, Inc. for over 40 years. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and sang often and he and his wife were active in a nursing home ministry for 15 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Buster Bryant and his wife Dani of Forest; four daughters, Diane B. Hughes and her husband Norman of Culpeper, Delores B. Mestas and her husband Daniel of Pueblo, CO, Brenda B. Cash and her husband Slick of Evington and Tammy B. Nunn and her husband Bart of Goode; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Clearview Baptist Church with Pastor Norman Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
