Born November 13, 1941 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late James G. Simpson, Sr. and Evelyn Duncan Johnson and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sheryl Hillman and two brothers, James G. Simpson, Jr. and Bill Simpson. She was retired from the Medical Care Center and was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pritchett is survived by her daughter, Donna L. Saunders and husband Allen of Rustburg and three grandchildren, Taylor Saunders, Jessica Saburn and husband Tim, and Kevin Hillman.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Carlton Duck officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
