Born in Nelson County, October 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William Lowell Campbell and Lottie Campbell.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Page Campbell and Ray Campbell.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Ann Lewis of Richmond; three sons, Edward L. Lewis and wife Sue of Concord, Thomas E. Lewis and wife Teresa and Terry Lewis all of Rustburg; two brothers, Leroy Campbell and wife Shelby and Clyde Campbell all of Amherst; two sisters, Jewel C. Bomar and husband Hale of Mississippi and Sadie C. Neighbors of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. C. Randall Harlow officiating.
