Charles "Pete" Peter Torrents

Pete was born on March 10th, 1960, he was the son of the late Charles and Jeannette Torrents. He was an Air Force Veteran, retired Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and business owner.

Pete is survived by his current wife, Jennifer Torrents; former wife, Jeannie Torrents; son, Jesse Torrents and his wife Amanda; son Nick Torrents and his wife Grace; son, Elias Torrents; daughter, Anna Torrents; step daughters, Christy Williams and Lily Carroll; step son, Lewis Carroll; grandchildren, Raven, Madison, Carson, Kasey, Salena, Jett, Genesis and Hudson; sibling Liz Miles and her husband Boyd; niece, Vashti; nephew, Henry and several other extended family members.

Pete Torrents lived life on his own terms, right up until the end. Upon first glance, Pete had that typical biker appearance. Underneath, he was so much more. Motorcycles weren't just a hobby for Pete. It was a lifestyle. He enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow riders. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandad and friend. He was a man of many talents. The legacy of his lifelong passions will continue to ripple through the community for years to come. He taught Hydraulics and Pneumatics at CVCC. He had a passion that was unmatched in his career field. There were many people that looked up to him for his knowledge and advice. With that same dedication and drive, he opened his own business, Proactive Mechanical Concepts. This gave him the opportunity to work alongside his 3 sons for many years.

He will be remembered in several ways, including his infectious laugh, his love for sweet tea, his musical talent and riding his motorcycles with his brothers.

The family will receive friends at Whitten Timberlake Funeral Home on Friday, July 26th, 2024 from 6-8pm.
