Constance Amanda Post

Constance Amanda Dahlstrom Post, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at The Summit Health and Rehabilitation. She passed away on her 68th wedding anniversary. She was the wife of the late Richard Charles Post. They were united in life and reunited in death. Born May 29, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Edolf Dahlstrom and the late Maude Klein Dahlstrom.

Connie was a homemaker and a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband and parents, Connie was preceded in death by one son, Ronald John Post (infant) and her sister Marguerite D. Klahn.

Connie is survived by her son Robert C. Post and his wife Sarah of Forest; her granddaughter Laura P. Henson and her husband Christopher of Massillon, OH; three great-grandchildren, Emma Henson, Sarah Henson and Carter Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Virginia Memorial Park.

A memorial service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Rev. Ken Burger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
