Cynthia Macel Fields

Cynthia Macel Fields, 92, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born February 19, 1927, in Grundy, she was the daughter of the late Basil Fields and the late Pollyann Deel Fields. Cynthia was a retired housekeeper/laundry for Camelot, which is now Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation. She was also a member of Amazing Grace Ministries. In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Catherine Gray, Goldie Marie Gilliland and Jessie Gaynell Fields. Cynthia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2019, at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Bill Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
