
He was born March 30, 1950 and he was the son of the late James Willis Duff and the late Deloresse Uwilda Duff.
He served in the Air Force as a Vietnam Vet, Private First Class. David was a gifted finish carpenter, an artist, and musician. He developed a gift as a geologist, to craft jewelry from gem stones he found.
David is survived by a daughter, Lorie Duff Cassidy; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by sister Deborah Duff Goughnour and her two children, Erik Goughnour and wife Vanessa and their children and Angela Goughnour and her family; his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Michael Duff and wife Linda and their five children; and two special friends, Mike Hill and Reggie Russell.
David was a great outdoorsman. He had a love for life, people, and nature. He was a member of Saint Thomas Moore Catholic Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Living Water Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl Donald, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 16.
