David Blaine Robinson

He was born on February 2, 1943 in Buckhannon, WV to the late Bernard and Ina Robinson.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

David was retired from MBP and served his county in the United States Navy during Vietnam earning the Navy Cross. He was a member of Spout Springs Ruitan Club and the Lynchburg Moose Lodge #715.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Melissa Moyer of Newnan, GA and Michael Robinson and wife Valerie of Logan, WV; step children, Clarence E. Davis and wife Mei-Mei of Cary, NC and Jeannette Lynn Davis and husband Christopher of Lynchburg; a sister, Annalee Cutright and husband Gary of Buckhannon, WV; a brother, Arley Robinson and wife Janet of Adrian, WV as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2050 Langhorne Road #201, Lynchburg, VA 24501.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:45 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Dr. Derik Hamby officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Lynchburg American Legion Post #16.
