Born August 26, 1961 in South Boston, she was a daughter of Mary “Evelyn” Guill Vaughan and the late Shirley Edward Vaughan.
In addition to her mother, Debby is survived by her children, Michael D. Monroe of Gladys and his wife, Desirea; Daphne E. Monroe-Wade of Evington and her husband, Jared; two brothers, Donny Vaughan and his wife, Diane, David Vaughan and his wife, Debbie all of Brookneal; eight grandchildren and her very special friend, Ana G. Ekstrom.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by Chaplain Chris Payden-Travers.
