Dianna M. Fortune, 63, of Gladys, died, Thursday, July 26, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of Milton Keith Fortune. Born December 12, 1948, in Shreveport, LA, she was the daughter of the late William Horace Phelps, Sr. and the late Addie Thereisa Lee Phelps.
Dianna was a former CNA for 20 years at Lynchburg General Hospital and she was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Dianna is survived by her son, Christopher Phelps and his wife Wendy of Gladys; two daughters, Susan Maupin and her husband Brian of Gladys and Whitney Creammer and her boyfriend Robert Thompson, Sr. of Evington; two sisters; three brothers; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:30 p.m.
