Donald Ray Mikels, 77, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at Accordius Health in Lynchburg. Born July 28, 1942, in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Ray Austin Mikels and the late Anna Wilson Mikels.
Donald was a retired barber for Wrights Barber Shop and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis M. Dawson and one brother, Phillip Mikels.
Donald is survived by his two children, Donald R. Mikels of Madison Heights and Wanda Mikels of Madison Heights; one sister, Patricia M. Bowman of Gretna; three grandchildren, Kay Walton, Donald Ray Mikels, III and Raelean Cowart; and other loving family members and friends.
