Dorothy Elliott Hamilton

Born March 10, 1943 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Dossie Marie Royer Elliott and the late Lonza (Pete) Elliott. She retired from Ralph W. Wright Lumber Co. and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, and mother, Dorothy is survived by daughters, Vanessa H. Wooldridge, Michele Hamilton; grandchildren, Tara Marie Kellam and husband, Michael, Shayna, Janet Nicole and Katherine Wooldridge, Morgan Hamilton; great-grandsons, Harland, Kindin and Devlin Kellam; great-granddaughter, Akrysta Preas; sisters, Jeanie Inge, Patricia Elliott and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Larry Randall.

The family will receive friends at Whitten Timberlake Chapel Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
