Born April 27, 1917 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis Koppelman and Emma Christ Koppelman. Mrs. Barger was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She loved playing Bingo and was often referred to as the “Bingo Queen”.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Barger is survived by her daughter, Joyce B. Morrison and husband Robert of Lynchburg; her son, Robert W. Barger and wife Paulette of Clearwater, FL; a brother, John Koppelman and wife Joan of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren, Lynda, Laurie, Lesley, and Michele and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive fiends Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, 7404 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, 24502.
Memorial services and burial will be held in Baltimore, MD.
