Born in King George County, February 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Alvin Emmett Stephens and Lucy Dillon Stephens. Buddy and his wife were the owner and operator of Stephens Auto Sales on Timberlake Rd. for over 45 years and Tiny Town Golf for 10 years before they sold it. He was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lynn S. Mayberry and her husband Roger of Madison Heights; one sister, Bonnie Mae Garrard of Fredericksburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Friends are invited to pay their respects and sign the register Monday, January 18, 2021 at WhittenTimberlake Chapel.
