

Born in Lynchburg, February 27, 1919, he was the son of the late Clarence L. Aultice and Luvenia Hurt Aultice. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps where he served as the radio technician of a B-29 bomber in the 40th Bombardment Squadron stationed on Timian Island during WWII. He began his career with Consolidated Textile (The Lynchburg Cotton Mill) where he worked for twenty years and later retired from Imperial Reading after 27 years of service. He was a member of Southview United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Ruth A. Aultice.
He is survived by one son, Jeffrey L. Aultice and his wife Ranny and one daughter, Darla D. Aultice all of Lynchburg; one sister, Lindy Collins of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Mary Owens and her husband Carwin and Jeff R. Aultice and his wife Deanna all of Lynchburg and Alan L. Aultice and his wife Leigh Ann of Bedford and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Will Montgomery officiating and military honors by the American Legion Post 16.
The family will receive friends at the graveside.
