Fred Franklin White

Fred Franklin White, 86, of Forest, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Bedford Hospice House. He was the loving husband of Rosa Marie Hall White and the late Emma Hess White. Born March 26, 1932 in Russell County, he was the son of the late George Franklin White and the late Sally Tuggle White. Fred was a retired truck driver and a member of Forest Family Fellowship Church. He enjoyed fishing, eating, and woodworking. In addition to his parents and first wife, Emma White, he is preceded in death by 6 siblings. In addition to his wife, Marie White, he is survived by his daughters, Patsy Mays and husband Mike and Jane White; son, Billy White and fiancé Linda Mullins; step-daughters, Linda White, Donna Elliott and husband Chris, and Vickie Jones and husband Steven; step-son, James Clark Crist, III and wife Patricia; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille White; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Pastor Joann Newman officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
