Born on November 29, 1936 in Campbell County he was the son of the late Rufus and Mary Green Hall.
Mr. Hall served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a Security Guard with Cycle Systems.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James Carroll Hall.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Linda G. Bates of Lynchburg; his brother, Lee Roy Hall of Lynchburg; his sisters, Brenda Reid of Lynchburg and Barbara Dale of South Boston; and a special friend, Frances Green.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6 to 7:30 pm at Whitten Park Avenue. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 2 pm at the Green Family Cemetery on Hightrail Lane in Campbell County. Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 16.
