Jerry “J.D.” Dean Fitzgerald, Jr., 49, of Madison Heights passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at his residence. Born September 19, 1966, in Lynchburg, he was the son of Kathleen Hunt Bass and the late Jerry Dean Fitzgerald, Sr.
J.D. was a sign installer for McBride Sign Company. He was a loving son, grandson, brother and uncle.
In addition to his mother, J.D. is survived by two siblings, Daniel Robertson and his wife Angela of Lynchburg and Sherri Moyer and her husband Curtis of Lynchburg; maternal grandmother, Frances Robertson of Concord; and a host of nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request, there will be no memorial services.
